SALE INFO:
Listed here is a 2017 JLG 340AJ Articulating Boom Lift featuring a Hybrid Power System!
This unit is equipped with a desirable Hybrid power system that pairs a battery bank with an onboard diesel generator to power four independent electric-drive wheels, giving this machine 4WD.
Its Primary Power System is a 48-Volt DC electrical system using 8 x 12V 100 Amp-Hour AGM/lead-acid batteries.
Additionally, the Generator/Engine is an Onboard Kubota diesel engine (Kubota Z482 - 11.1 hp / 8.28 kW) that acts as a generator to recharge the battery pack automatically during use.
There are four independent AC electric-drive motors offering 45% gradeability and smooth torque across rough terrain.
Given its electric capabilities, a key benefit is quiet, zero-emission electric operation suitable for indoor spaces combined with self-charging diesel generation for long outdoor runtimes.
